After a successful summer with lots of cricket and more and more girls joining the Amsterdam Cricket Academy's Girls Academy we can finally announce we will continue in 2021! The ACA Girls Academy will kick-off the new year with a girls cricket event on the 2nd of January in the VRA Indoor hall. A day filled with cricket, fun and clinics by Women from the Dutch national team!
After the kick-off we will start with a 6-week indoor block before we go back outside, scroll down for our winter programme.
Kick-off Girls Academy
To start the new year the Amsterdam Cricket Academy will organise a special day for girls in cricket. A day all about cricket and bringing cricket girls together to learn from our own Dutch National Women's team. Come and join us on a day full with fielding, keeping, bowling and batting clinics! For all girls, from beginners to more experienced aged 7 to 17 years! Want to learn from the pro players, always been curious to try out cricket or would like to bring your friend along to show her the sport that you love so much? This is the day! Let's get the girls together for a memorable day!
At the moment we are happy to announce that these Dutch National players have confirmed to give clinics on the day: Babette de Leede, Caroline de Lange, Denise van Deventer and Frederique Overdijk. More names to be announced soon!

Costs: €20 (for the 3 hour block)
We are looking into the possibilities to offer lunch (for the younger girls) and dinner (for the older girls) more info will follow soon.
Sadly due to the new Corona restrictions we have had to cancel the girls kick-off day.
We are now planning to organise this event in the spring of 2021. Keep an eye on our site or sign-up for updates.
Winter programme Girls Academy
After the kick-off we will start with the Winter Indoor programme on
Monday the 4th of January from 17h00 till 19h00 at the VRA Indoor hall.
For the winter programme we have split the group into two age groups.
Each group will train every other week taking the KNCB Lionesses sessions into account.
Group A: Girls Academy Juniors (8-12 years) will start on Monday 4th of January
Group B: Girls Academy (13-17 years) will start on Monday 11th of January
Costs for the six two hour sessions: €60
