Academy Girls Practice kicks off

We had a terrific first tri-club youth training on Sunday May 17 for girls (13-17) who live in Amsterdam and play cricket at ACC, VRA and Qui Vive, some of whom also play on the KNCB's Dutch Lionesses team. Pre-Covid, Amsterdam cricketers training with the Dutch Lionesses travelled each week to Utrecht or The Hague to work with head coach Sean Trouw.

Since the Amsterdam girls still cannot travel to train, we are thrilled that Dutch Lionesses head coach Sean Trouw could come to Amsterdam to help launch the tri-club girls clinic organized by the Amsterdam Cricket Academy. We are equally happy that VRA cricketer Lotte Heerkens has agreed to be the coach for the Amsterdam regional girls training sessions that will take place each Sunday from 11:00-13:00. The upcoming session (May 24th) will be at VRA.

Girls between 13-17 years, interested in playing cricket, are welcome to contact us to make arrangements to come to a Sunday morning training.
