The Girls Academy was started in the summer of 2020 as a daughter initiative of the Amsterdam Cricket Academy.

With the Girls Academy we aim for a setting in which girls that normally train in mixed teams for different clubs train together. Our goal is to create a situation in which every girl, no matter their experience or knowledge, can get involved in cricket without having to immediately commit to a club. This way they have time to get to know the game and hopefully eventually join a club.
